This is the deposit for a custom camper trailer or off-grid setup through the Build Your Own Trailer page. The deposit goes toward the cost of your parts. It does not cover labor.
Here is how it works. You fill out the questionnaire on the Build Your Own Trailer page: your budget, what the setup is for, your power needs, shelter preferences, and whether you are towing with an e-bike. You pay the deposit based on your budget tier. Within 48 hours, we review your build for compatibility and final pricing.
Once the build is approved, we order the parts, assemble the setup, and test everything. You pick it up in Akron, Ohio and pay the remaining balance at that time. The balance covers labor and any final adjustments.
We do not front parts money. The deposit exists so parts can be ordered without paying out of pocket. No deposit, no parts order. That is the whole system.
